Jackson and this movement are committed to eliminating the influence of corporate money in politics, ensuring that elected officials focus on the needs and priorities of working-class Americans rather than serving corporate donors.

This campaign has pledged to never receive funds from corporate PACs or business interests.

Instead, this grassroots movement is fueled by small-dollar contributions from labor unions, and people just like you.

We’re fighting to create a system that truly represents all Americans, NOT just the TOP one percent!

Together, we can flip Indiana’s 5th Congressional District!

Who is Jackson Franklin?

  • Jackson and his 4 siblings (including 2 triplet brothers) come from a working class family located in a cornerstone of IN-05: Muncie, Indiana.

His mother worked as a nurse and his father worked for General Motors.

His father was also a member of the United Automobile Workers of America.

  • Jackson currently serves the country and the State of Indiana as a Health Care Specialist in the Indiana National Guard.

    Mobilzations and deployments

  • A medic in the Army, a medic in the local community. Jackson has served the Muncie community as a paramedic in EMS and patient transport.

  • Jackson has been continuously inspired by Sen. Bernie Sanders to push for political change.

With that inspiration, he has made it his mission to give a voice to the Hoosier’s of the 5th district.

I am a fighter, trained in emergency medical care as a paramedic, a staff sergeant in the Army National Guard, tested by crisis, and driven by a lifelong commitment to serve my community.

The moments where actual lives are at stake, I’ve been there.

That experience taught me how to act fast, lead with clarity, and put people first, every single time.

Even when pressure is high, I won’t back down.

I’m running to fight for working families, for justice, for dignity, and for a future where leadership is measured by courage, competence, and compassion.

This isn’t about ambition. It’s about duty, and I am prepared to serve the people of Indiana and the country to FIGHT for what is right.

I pledge that this campaign will never take a DIME of corporate money, and we never will!

People Over Profits!

Jackson’s Promise:

As a campaign that REFUSES ALL corporate lobby money, we are committed to fighting the legalized corruption that occurs at every level of our political system.

To do this, we need to overturn the disastrous Supreme Court decision of Citizens United, which allowed unlimited money to be dumped into political campaigns. The millionaire and billionaire classes essentially buy our elections, making our politicians beholden to them, NOT the working class. We must move to public funding of our elections and ban corporate lobbying across the nation.

Here in America, we have the best democracy that money can buy. Our democracy should consist of ELECTIONS, not auctions!

End Corruption; Reform Campaign Finance

Medicare For All

Our healthcare system is fundamentally broken.

More than 70,000 Americans die every year due to lack of healthcare, and millions more are uninsured or underinsured. This campaign is calling for our country to catch up to the rest of the developed world and guarantee Medicare for every citizen across the country.

Medical bills are the number one cause of bankruptcy in the United States.

We should be spending money on doctors, nurses, mental health specialists, dentists, and other professionals who improve and protect our health. Our current system wastes billions of dollars a year on profiteering, executive compensation packages, and outrageous administrative costs.

The giant pharmaceutical and health insurance lobbies have spent billions of dollars over the past decades and have donated to our opponent in this race to ensure that their profits come before the health of the American people. We must defeat them!

Restore Women’s Rights

Our campaign recognizes that women’s rights are human rights!

We need to ensure that all women have the right to control their own bodies, equal access to workplace safety, equal pay, paid parental leave, full access to healthcare, and more.

Roe v. Wade protected women’s right to a safe and legal abortion for nearly 50 years, but the current extremist Supreme Court has stripped away that basic right. We stand with women in their right to have open access to safe, legal, affordable abortion, birth control, and family planning services. We believe people deserve access to affordable pre- and post-natal care, regardless of income, location, or education.

This campaign supports passing federal legislation to codify reproductive healthcare and the right to have an abortion into federal law. Let’s give women their rights back.

Legalize Cannabis & End The War On Drugs

Indiana is one of only 11 states left not to have any form of legalized cannabis.

The criminalization of cannabis has ruined lives, and disproportionately affected communities of color. It’s time to decriminalize it, expunge past marijuana-related convictions, and ensure that the revenue gained by legalization will be reinvested into the communities hit hardest by the disastrous “war on drugs.”

The United States spends over $80 billion each year on incarcerating people. This campaign wants the government to invest intentionally in education, housing, healthcare, and employment. I also believe addiction should be treated, not punished.

Legalize. Tax. Regulate.

Now is the time to create a government which represents all Americans and not just the 1%.
— Senator Bernie Sanders, VT
