Biography of the Candidate
”Hello Everyone! I am Jackson Franklin, and I’m passionate about serving my community, both in uniform and as your future congressman for meaningful change. Allow me to tell you about myself and what I stand for. As a Staff Sergeant in the Indiana Army National Guard, I’ve served as a combat medic for 6 years and went overseas to Kosovo in 2023. As a Paramedic, I have had the great honor and pleasure of protecting the health of those within our community. I am originally from Albany, which is a small town just outside Muncie, IN, and I am also close to earning a bachelor’s degree in American history from American Military University, which has deepened my understanding of our nation’s past and strengthened my commitment to building a better future.
I have been greatly inspired by the likes of Bernie Sanders and others in the progressive movement to champion policies that prioritize fairness, equality, and opportunity for all. I believe in fighting for healthcare as a human right, investing in education, fighting against corruption, and ensuring that every voice is heard. That is why I have pledged never to take any big donor money and will fight the political establishment to end corruption in this country. This campaign is committed to real change that benefits all of us, not just the wealthy.
Together, we can create a brighter future for our nation, and with your help, we will get it done!”
