This semester, the Journalism 302 class at Ball State University is collaborating with Forward Visions for their Project 50, as part of a student-led philanthropy initiative to organize a non-partisan candidate forum. This forum aims to provide local voters with an opportunity to become acquainted with the candidates running for office. Since 2019, Forward Visions has organized this event to educate the community about the candidates and the electoral process.

Given the historically low voter turnout in Delaware County, their objective is to enhance civic engagement and promote election education within the region.
